Harriman, NY - The Wal Mart in Harriman is closed until further notice, as officials check the integrity of the roof after the heavy snowfall.

State police in Monroe said workers started removing the snow from the roof Friday. It could take until Monday before engineers or municipal officials check the roof’s integrity before the store opens.

how does saving money turn into wasting money if that's the way you feel then tell the "jewish" owners not to jack up their prices to much then i and a lot of others would buy from them instead of places like walmart for the basics there is absolutely not reason for all these mark ups

Good question...this store is in a well known high snow area and the folks in charge of it's construction should have taken this into account when this building was built.

I have a better idea:
Tell the Mom and Pop stores to hire salespeople who are not rude, who don't throw the merchandise at you, who try to be helpful, and have a basic understanding of what they're selling.

And, I might add, salespeople who don't leave you waiting while they chat with each other and with friends who came in to the store to visit, play hand held video games as they ignore you, and yack on their cell phones while you stand there patiently.
