Miami, FL - Grand Rebbe Meshulem Feish Seigel Lowy of Kiryas Tosh, who resides in Montreal, Canada but has spent the past few months in Florida for health reasons, is in grave condition at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale.

The Tosher Rebbe, who is considered by many to be one of the last of the previous generation’s tzadikim, was admitted to the hospital two days ago with an infection, but the medicines have proven to be too strong for the Rebbe’s weakened system and he is experiencing breathing difficulties.  Doctors are working to keep the Rebbe’s condition from deteriorating without putting him on a respirator.

According to Rabbi Shulem Orgal, Gabbai to the Rebbe, “Only rachmei shomayim can help him.  Every yeshiva, every kehilla, in America and in Eretz Yisroel should be mispallel for Meshulem Feish ben Tzirel.”

of course he's one of the great tzadikim but why consider him "of the previous generation?" was he in the same generation as the previous satmar, bobov or viznitz rebbes?

Unfortunately, as we keep seeing, NOTHING brings out Achdus. NOTHING. NO ONE. Not the biggest tragedies R"L, or the greatest triumphs.

So as long as there are people like #5 we will continue to suffer & Moshiach will keep away.

Could people please stop using the quote "Moshiach is not coming because of.............."
Moshiach is going to come anyway and hopefully very soon. The generations are not getting better, just sinking lower. No matter how bad we think it is now it's still better than what it will be later on, and that's pretty scary.
We are not perfect, but most of us are trying our best. So let's focus on the positive instead of the negative.
A lot of people all over the world have been saying Tehillim for the Rebbe Shlita. The achdus is amazing. Let's focus on that and let's ask Hashem to focus on the positive of Am Yisroel as well. In this Zchus may we merit the coming of Moshiach very soon with the Toshe Rebbe and the other Gedolim leading the way!!!

While everyone should daven for his refuah shelemah, please don't insult so many of the other greater rabbonim and gadolim by setting him up as the "Only One".

He is NOT niftar. He is in fact showing some improvement. Why do you all keep saying he is from a "previous generation". The rav is still with us and b'yh, will be with us for through the next generation.

I am just plain Jewish. I guess that is what make us different. Moshe Rabbeinu was not a Satmar, Chabbadtzker or Chareidi; he was just a plain ordinary Jew. If we all forgot the titles and we we would just be "Bnei Yisrael" then Mashiach might come sooner. We are caught up in the nonsense of labeling ourselves and causing divisions amongst Klal Yisrael. It is of course not only the Chassidim or Misnagdim, the labeling continues with names such as Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist etc.

What you are, diminishes achdus as it foments the seeds of division, hostilities and separation. Have you ever heard of "United we stand, Divided we fall" well my friends we have be standing on one leg with a walking stick for too long?

you can be different, have your own communities and minhagim, and still be united. What gives us Achdus is Hashem Echad - there is nothing wrong with diversity - it makes things interesting - as long as we can get along

I've visited him many times in Montreal. Seeing him and observing him have been the most inspiring experiences of my life. You can see him at all hours of the night. To him 4:00 a.m. is like 4:00 p.m., there is no difference. He hardly eats, he hardly drinks, he hardly sleeps. His mincha takes hours. His maariv takes hours. A simple bracha on tea can take a very, very long time. Words cannot describe the tzidkus of this great, great rebbe. May Hashem give him many, many more good years.
Please daven for him.
