Most of the threats so far have been reported by Democrats, but Cantor — the No. 2 Republican in the House — is one of about 10 lawmakers who has asked for increased security protection, Fox News has learned. As a member of the House leadership, U.S. Capitol Police already provide Cantor with a security detail around the clock, but he has asked for more security.

As House Republican whip, Cantor is the highest elected Jewish politician in the country.

The Department of Homeland Security is involved in the Cantor case because he is a member of the House leadership.

Fox News has also obtained a threatening message left Friday on the voicemail of Rep. Jean Schmidt, R-Ohio.

It is his cronies who are these conservative radicals and what Mr. Cantor will learn and some Jews in Europe found out that the fringe of the “conservatives” also are antisemites and Mr. Cantor is of the non-Aryan group and a “damn Jew” to the fine conservative radicals. Who plays with fire may burn his hands and a few hands will be burned

Wish he’d run for President; young, dynamic, smart – a venerable white Obama, with the right stuff to correct the present ills

It’s probably the tea-party lunatics who hates Jews as much as they hate Dems! They are no good!

My advice to people is: relax and pay attention. This is another coldwar with endless hype and real established warfronts. The recession is basically standard economics. The deregulated economics of the recent past created an illusion of unlimited growth. Many people are stressed and have not come to grips with recession economics and routine. Today’s landscape is routine, normalcy. The newcoldwar is established, we’re beyond the “with us or against us” rhetoric. It’s important to pay attention to others who need encouragement or caution. If you accept reality as it is but the next person doesn’t, then you have to be careful with them. ALSO: I find it insanely ironic that media runs this story of anti-social and self-destructive behavior. Media keeps promoting the contrived grassroots activism which is nothing but a screamfest for the uninformed. That screamfest is also ill-enabling the emotional fringe. ANYWAY: we have to pay attention to people who are breaking down.

That’s an interesting claim, that he’s the highest elected, since he’s in the minority party and thus has minimal power
I would say that the Jewish Governors of Delaware and Hawaii and Pennsylvania all have more power than he does.

And in the House, certainly the Jewish Democratic committee chairs have more power.

Henry Waxman, as Chair of Energy and Commerce; Barney Frank, Financial Services; Howard Berman, Foreign Affairs, Bob Filner, Veteran’s Affairs, Sander Levin on Ways and Means

    all have more power

A few members of Congress have experienced this in the last couple of days. It is disturbing to say the least. There is fringe on both sides of the debate, no doubt. There are far-left communists and far-right anarchists who are routinely dismissed by most of us… until recently.

While I know that those showing up at these tea-party rallies are not ALL nut jobs, there is a fairly large % who are. When media outlets began promoting this loosely tied group of groups, they found legitimacy. Angry people walking around in public with automatic weapons on their backs, posters with swastikas (as if they know what that means), words being shouted like “marxism” and “fascism” being thrown around (as if they know what they mean), all being celebrated by FNC and other outlets as if that were normal behavior. B”H it is all LEGAL behavior and I respect that. However, that ignorance and anger is based on a boogeyman created in the media. Created to pour fuel on the fire, and increase TV/radio ratings to bring huge salary increases for the infotainers who are stirring it up.

Yes the communists have their wackos too, but as a Conservative, this ignorant anger based on lies scares me.

    People:
On September 12, 2009, approximately 2 MILLION American citizens gathered in Washington, D.C. to protest the healthcare bill in Congress. That’s right, TWO MILLION!! And the “mainstream” media didn’t report it! Why? Because the leftist “mainstream” media are biased against the conservatives. TWO MILLION TEA-PARTY members – and no violence. Just respectful, calm, American citizens, asking – begging – Congress not to pass the healthcare bill and begin the control of the American people (as admitted by the most senior Democrat in Congress – John Dingell on WJR radio in Detroit on Tuesday – that the healthcare bill is to control the American people).

We see a dictatorship forming in America. We are scared. According to (left-leaning) CBS, 62% of Americans want the Republicans to continue being the party of NO to the Democratic takeover of America. (The other 38% are on welfare)

Did you know, by the way, that all dictators in the 20th century were socialist leftists? Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, etc. Makes you wonder…..

The Democrats went against the wishes of the American people. They know it. They SHOULD be voted out in Nov.

The bottom line is that the Democrats are simply making up the threats against them, while the threats AND ATTACKS against Republicans are real. They use the tactics of violence and fear all the time, and then accuse the other side of their own crimes. עושה מעשה זמרי ומבקש שכר כפנחס. This is straight out of the Alinsky rules.

Mr. Cantor is great. He keeps a kosher home and learns Torah every week. He had his son’s bar mitzvah last year in an Orthodox shul and his brother is 100% frum
