Thessaloniki traffic police chief Giorgos Thanoglou says “millions” of the amphibians covered the tarmac Wednesday near the town of Langadas, some 12 miles east of Thessaloniki.
“There was a carpet of frogs,” he said.

There isn't one smart greek businessman out there, to catch all the frogs, sell them to the French(the french love frog legs, and its not our fault), and with the proceeds pay off the debt Greece is in.

Running over all those frogs created a slimy mess on the highway, kind of like an oil slick, causing cars tires to lose traction with the road, kind of like a person stepping on banana peels.
