EPA/LAJOS NAGYVarpalota, Hungary - Graves were vandalized and a marble tombstone stolen overnight from the Jewish cemetery in Varpalota, western Hungary, the head of the Hungarian-Israeli Friendship Society of Varpalota told MTI.
Gabor Ujvari said that unknown persons had pushed over one and broken seven headstones while a marble stone was found missing. He said it was not the first time the cemetery in Varpalota had been vandalized.

The association has reported the incident to the police, Ujvari said.
