Yesterday, the haredi rabbinical court issued a boycott against Electra Consumer Products, which resulted in violent attacks against the company’s technicians making service calls at haredi customers. The boycott was issued because Electra Consumer Products sister company, Electra Real Estate Ltd. (TASE:ELCRE), is a party in the construction of a hotel on the site of the old French Hospital on Yefet in Jaffa, where the haredim claim graves have been found.

By law, Electra Consumer Products must answer service calls, but the company decided that if the attacks against its personnel continue, it will ask the regulator for permission not to provide service.

Electra Consumer Products and Electra Real Estate are subsidiaries of Elco Holdings Ltd. controlled by chairman Georg Salkind.

We must not support or shop in Jewish businesses that dissregard the word of the master of the universe by being mechallel shabbos or digging up graves of our holy ancestors.

As I reiterated before. Israeli Hareidim who are innocent will bear an increasing discriminatory burden for the violent actions of a few. The hatred and social discrimination will increase thruout Israel’s secular society. The failure of all the major leaders of the Hareidi community to come out and take sever action against violence of any kind will lead to increased problems for the whole innocent community. It is increasing every day.

I could understand if they protest against the machers and knakers of the company. But these techs are just here to make ends meet, to make a living. I am ultra chariedi , I support all the protesting etc. This is wrong.!!

Finally someone taking a stand. You want to be violent, we’ll just stop dealing with you. The gov’t should try that with bus service, garbage – you want to burn it and throw it on the street – fine, we’ll just stop picking it up. Accountability – watch how fast the “leaders” put their feet down.

Denying all services, including essential public services such as utilities, water, trash collection etc. to chareidi neighborhoods is the right way to go. The more suffering and humiliation that can be imposed on the chareidi kehilla, the more likely it will be that the rabbonim who ostensibly lead that kehilla from Rav Weiss all the way up the ladder, will come to their senses and begin to demand changes the behavior of those who feel an entitlement to engage in violence and destruction of property. Its unfortunate that the large percentage of the chareidim who are innocent will suffer, but there is no other way to address the cancer that is reflected by the non-stop chareidi demonstrations.

Don’t install or fix their appliances until they learn how to behave like normal human beings. Let them rot these ‘schvantz’, they have it too good since they don’t know what a job means they have multitudes of time on their hands and they keep busy with all this narrishkeit.

it is high time for all the normal chareidi rabbonim, like Belz, Vizsnitz, gerr, etc. and all the gedolim from the yeshiva world,to come together and once and for all put into CHEREM all these criminaly insane gangsters posing as chareidim, and also the organizations who have spawned and have protected these animals IE, the aida hachreidis, satmar, neturei karta, and the rest of the crazy’s,who have given frum judaism a black eye

There were no “violent attacks”, this is a simple retaliation from the Electra co. IF YOU BOYCOTT ME, I WILL BOYCOTT YOU!
Just to make it look a bit normal, they have to claim something like “we were attacked”..

While they spread the lie as if they are victims of violence that never happened, they are the criminals digging up graves 2000 years old and up!
Shame on Electra for digging ancient holy graves!
Shame on Electra for crying victim when they are the perps!

What I see is violence against charedi protesters by police supposedly ‘protecting’ Electra’s criminal activity!!
Charedi protesters in Jaffa (where Electra is excavating many bodies from grave sites) are beung brutalized! They’re protesting peacefully, not one violent incident happened there by charedim, while the police brutality by them is scary! They act barbaric and viciously against innocent charedim.

Nice spin by the ELECTRA grave diggers.
Instead of taking responsibility on their ugly actions, instead of stopping the grave digging and brutality of protesters, they try to spin away with non sense that never happened.
Woe to them when their day comes, woe to Electra and its operators when Hashem will address you.

I believe. Its about time for the Chareidie leadership to realize that they are in golus and live under a non Jewish government. And there’s no reason for this massive protests just like we don’t do it here in usa or europe.

If we as frum jews portray such a bad image by the non observant, then all kiruv organizations might as well close down.. We as religious people need to show restraint sometimes, in order to get respect…. Shame on all those few who are making a rackett… you can achieve much much more by talking…

I’m embarrased to call these jews my brothers, they are a chillul Hashem, like I always say g-d would prefer if they entertained themselves by watching tv in there houses rather than act as they do, because that’s all it is they’re bored.

#34 and all anti semites around here, by repeating again and again about charedi violence or rioting, while in reality the Israeli unmannered police and lawless state enforcement are brutally abusing hundreds and thousands of peaceful protesters and innocent bystanders, and they should go get a life together with you and all supporting Israeli terrorism and vicious brutality.

When thousands and thousands are peacefully protesting, and then a few street boys or bums are burning tires or a garbage bin on he street after a protest, then all anti charedi secular news reports and web sites will write huge headlines about “charedi riots and violence”. Even worse, when the entire demonstrations would be 100 percent peaceful with no incidents, the secular biased jew hating press will still report about “charedi violence”, even though it never occurred.
And what about the police brutality at each and every protest, no matter the nature or place, if its charedim, the anti semitic Israeli police forces would imply the utmost viciousness and brutality, and hence I don’t see it reported on the Israeli secular news reports. I’ve seen the pictures of the police brutality, I’ve seen the head crackings, baton whippins on young and old, I’ve seen blood gushing from victims faces, hands and noses, police pulling out beards and peyos, choking young and elderly people.. I’ve seen it live. But the secular self hating bitter media wouldn’t choose to report on it, they would just cover up on the perp’s and smear lie after libel on the righteous victims, the charedim.
    No need to elaborate anymore.

#34 , sorry to tell you, you ain’t sounding like a brother, maybe a cousin.. If you would’ve been a brother, it would’ve pain you to see your Rabbi’s and grand parents graves being digged up shamelessly by people who claim to be jewish, as a brother it would’ve hurt you to see your brothers being tortured, hands burned, and old choshuva people bruised and wounded by the so called jewish police.

It’s not true they aren’t working. The chillul H” would be alot worse without these protests. I support Eidah 100% and so does every frum Yid in EY. Stop believing the Jew-hating Israeli news, that is where you get all your incorrrect “facts”. The police shot tear gas at HRH”G Moshe Shternbuch! Are you accusing the Rav chas vesholom of protesting violently? Stop apologizing to the freiers! This is a holy place and we have a right and obligation to uphold Torah no matter what!
