Fallsburg, NY - A 57-year-old man has been indicted in Sullivan County Court in numerous thefts of copper wire from a bungalow colony in Fallsburg.

James Everett of Fallsburg is accused of burglary, grand larceny, criminal mischief and criminal possession of stolen property.

Authorities say Everett stole copper wiring worth $5,305 from several bungalows last fall.

He also took commercial speakers, microphones and a music box, court papers say.

Understand that the value of the copper is much less than the damage done by removing wiring. Many years ago crooks used to steal the copper lines carrying freon to the outside part of cenral AC uits. The copper value was minimal compared to the labor and cost of replacing all the lost freon. Today, BH, they can steal whole units instead because they weigh less than they used to.
Expect a rash of these AC condenser thefts this year because undeclared CONED voltage problems are buring out units in huge numbers.

what are you an idiot?

Does "James Everett" sound like a Jewish name? Are you supposed to take a goy to besdin? and what's "the amount" he should pay back? You have no idea what the damage he caused cost, and you obviously have no idea of what the "Torah way" is.

Before you open your mouth again, learn a little so you don't sound like such an Am Oretz.

my gas didn't work. We found that someone stole the line. Cost over $1500. Copper pipe is not even worth 10% of that.
