Quick Stop Kosher, a food truck that bills itself as a “breakfast, lunch, and waffles” joint, opened this summer. Owner Ari Thaler grew up in Antwerp, and decided his truck had to “do something a little bit different.”
The waffles are sumptuous. The “plain waffle” ($5.50) comes with hot fudge and whipped cream.
For $1 more, the truck adds ice cream and fruit.
For those who want lunch with their dessert, Quick Stop offers a very New York array of kosher fare: sandwiches, salad, French fries, Moishe’s falafel, omelettes, bagels and blintzes.
The truck also makes a panini ($7) with pizza sauce, three cheeses, and vegetable toppings. The panini takes about seven minutes to make but it is worth the wait.
The food can get messy, Mr. Thaler knows, so he attached a hand- sanitizer station to the truck. And if you feel the selection is lacking, he says he will solicit input and change the menu.

I have to give Belgium credit for their delicious Kosher meals, which I've had on international flights. I remember that on one flight to EY, the meals which were prepared in Brussels, Belgium were very large, and appeared to be triple wrapped. Those Kosher meals were far superior to the Kosher meals that I've been served, while traveling on domestic airline flights
