Kiryas Joel, NY – Disputes among warring factions in the village of Kiryas Joel have turned to distribution of flyers and garbage littering.

Complaints came in to State Police at Monroe about political and religious flyers being distributed and strewn across roads resulting in them being littered with trash.
That escalated to garbage and regular refuse being thrown and dumped across roads in the village by pedestrians and by residents of the community tossing it out of moving vehicles, police said.
In some cases, police said trash is being set on fire, either in dumpsters or on roads. On Saturday, the Town of Monroe Highway Department was called out to clear Forest Road after he became impassable from dumped refuse.
Police have impounded vehicles and persons have been arrested or identified as being involved in unlawful activities.
In another incident, police said a resident reported on Saturday morning that persons from the community entered his property and dumped garbage throughout his home.
In recent nights over the past week, vehicle windows have been broken out and other damage has been caused to autos.
State Police are continuing to patrol the area in an effort to thwart other illicit activities.
Who are the garbage makers, what’s the purpose ? Isn’t there enough garbage in kj ,the past few years ?

The BNAI YOEL people have recently opened a new wedding hall in the outskirts of monroe where u can make a wedding without giving SIDUR KIDUSHIN for the satmar rabbi of kj, the DAYAN(an aroini) who was send by the satmar rabbi reb yoel has given out a PSAK that they r not allowed to make weddings without permission of reb aron, in addition the aroini buchorim of the kj satmar yeshive are putting out flyers with names and pictures of the newly weds, the BNAI YOEL have put out garbage wherever there is flyers, so the village will have to pick them all up.

What puzzles me is, how it is possible for a village in a democracy world to have total monarchism or better yet complete anarchism? I reside in KJ, however, I stay on the sidelines. And I’m really embarrassed to be associated with a place like this. Kiryas Yoel, is allegedly the epitome of the pious, at least that’s what the Rabbi was hopping for. Turns out, that every season there’s a new fight. When one fades a new one arises. I think its time for a change and resolve this ordeal by starting with the youth by giving them a proper secular education. The way I look at it: if you only provide a primitive education its just normal in reciprocation you’ll get a bronze age mentality. Its time to evolve like the rest of society did. Move on Kiryas Yoel!
