Brooklyn, NY - This morning, Brooklyn Senator Kevin Parker paid a visit at Lutheran Medical Center to Joel Klein who is one of the four members of the Shomrim Patrol Force who were shot while responding to an incident near 49th Street and 10th Avenue.

“I commend you for your bravery,” said Senator Parker as he talked to the men. Senator Parker then spent time discussing the men’s recovery with the doctors and nurses on site.  Senator Parker has a strong relationship with the Borough Park Community. During the last eight years he has given $15 million worth of funding away to the 21st District, $1 million of which has gone to supporting small community based Jewish Organizations like the Shomrim. “These types of incidents must stop,” Senator Parker as he was leaving. “I am going to work with community leaders to get the guns off our streets.”

Mr Klein was shot in the abdomen and went into surgery this afternoon; Please be mispallel for Yoel ben Malkah.

Parker is a nice guy and seems to take on interest in our community, but I am troubled by his history of incidents. Keep in mind that he has a tough primary in a week.

You think Bloomberg has time for his own flesh and blood?

Poster # 1 (Kollelfaker); This is part of the package. Part of the mentality of the liberal Jews, like Mayor Michael Bloomberg. He will not show up or utter one sentence of encouragement to a civic group that consists of volunteers who are working so well with the officers of the NYPD to reduce crime in the neighborhood. The funny thing (maybe it's not so funny) about the Mayor is, that in the past Eight years he rarely showed his ideological or political side. His MO was street-level practicality and working efficiency, totally disconnected from any partisanship. But since his re-election to a Third term, he began showing his political and ideological side. Beginning with his going all-out for the building of the mosque at Ground Zero and following with some smaller public events where he truly showed where he stands ideologically.

The mayor was not at the hospital and did not visit these heroes. However when a muslim cab driver was assualted, the mayor did visit with him. The mayor is so open minded, that his brains have fallen out.

As I have said previously he couldn't give a hoot about his fellow Jew especially a Hassidic one.
If it were a Muslim who was shot he'd have been there.

It really dosent matter if Bloomberg was there or not...The people who work in his circles were all there and they do represent the Mayor of NYC on every visit..Give the mayor credit where credit is due..We all know that the great job done by Shomrim has the green light from City Hall and who runs city hall.? When a Muslim gets stabbed its a racial case and its very important for the mayor to show up and condem the crime. This case was a stakeout which went very bad and we suffered a major loss by our best members being shot and all the chiefs, captains and officers showed up to support us..They all ork for Mayor Bloomberg and they represent him where ever they show support...

I think we should all send a representetive to the election booths to vote for blumberg the next time he is runing for anything, if he is too busy to show up supporting these people who are riscing their lives for no money just too keep our sreets safe and secure then we are also busy to show up in the booths, will have 1 person to represent us all, but maybe the mayor is upset on the patrols why they are reporting crimes and proofing the crime rises,
