Brooklyn, NY – Female reporters and photographers were banned from covering Carl Paladino’s anti-gay speech at the Karlsburg Synagogue in Borough Park, Brooklyn — for religious reasons, according to the Hasidic group that prays there.

While the event was going on, some women on the upper floors of the building dumped water on the banned journalists.
“Hey, this is a $25,000 camera!” yelled one NY1 reporter.
Watch below At minute 7.01 a female reporter can be heard shouting stop.
this sounds to me like a baked New York Post story! don’t believe it.
now the woman are doing it. I think they where jealous to see some woman who can do what they want and not be regulated to the back or upper deck
…and a great Kiddush Hashem was had by all…
Baruch Hashem, mea shearim has reached america! we’re saved!
what a chilul hashem! its like “Humon” that was dumped with water from upper floor while riding mordcha…

of course blame the messenger it is an old tactic
What do you expect…..no normal yiddeshe women would be anywhere near this Levin dreche. The whole event was created for the media since virtually all those who daven at his shul are his mishpacha or other troubled yidden such as himself.
were gonna have such a chillul hashem and sinah from this whole thing watching the candidate for governor of the state of ny being leashed around by a specific bracket
and for a specific social special interest which is disproportionate to the problems facing that sphere of influence and our nation
im soo ashamed to be a chassid right now
we should be ashamed of ourselves right now….
How many of them are even going to vote? I remember when Dinkins was running for mayor 21 years ago, my former classmate from Bais Yaakov did not even know that he was black!!!! She had no intention of voting and was completely uninformed.
This whole mess is causing such negative attention to us. There is no way Carl can change or even shed his image now and we will be associated with him forever, no matter what comes out of his mouth. There was no need for the women to throw water on the goyim reporters. We look uncivilized to the world. Reporters were merely doing their job and covering an event. They too have families they need to support.
I don’t understand how any yid, even the ultra-frumies, could ever again stand being together in the same room as Levin and his goons (including these disgusting women who threw the water).
If legitimate reporters can’t come into the building, men OR women, this meeting should not have been held in the shul. It was not a religious event, it was a political one, and if the shul can’t deal with that, then the Rov should not have allowed it to be scheduled.
I am ashamed that women identified as part of the frum community thought they were doing Gd’s work by throwing water on strangers. As if staying indoors and out of the shul wouldn’t have kept them spiritually pure enough.
This was a huge kiddush hashem, those women surely got a big mitzvah, and now you can go and complain about why people hate Jews.
Me, I’m just going to start telling people that I’m Episcopalian. Or Amish.
This just makes Orthodox Jews look bad.
What can we do to keep Levin from pulling these stunts?
Levin should pat himself on the back. Great job he is singlehandedly losing the campaign for Palladino. Cuomo doesn’t have to even try, he’s a shoo in.
Physically attacking the reporters, even if it’s just with water, will come back and haunt all Jews. Sympathetic stories will be shaded to neutral. Neutral ones will be spun to negative. Negative ones will make the front page and stay there.

Could it have been an accident??
Just askin’
What an utter Chillul Hashem!! What are these women thinking??? I wish I could find out which reporter this was and get in touch with her to apologize in the name of all other Frum Jewish women as all of the ones I know would never in their wildest dream think of doing something like this.
sick chayas. so typically netura karta types.
hey..dont bash palodino so quickly….i dont like cuomo….not father or son….we need a son or daughter of d’amato…..
reply to BLONDI #25 –
yes, we won’t bash because of your likes and dislikes.
re amato, find out first if he has a son or daughter. if so, look in for him/her, like daddy.
reply to #22 :
Are you on drugs? “could it have been an accident”?
Yes, the women could have opened the windows by accident. They could have thrown out water by accident. this could have happened at the exact moment the reporters were beneath them, accidently, and the water could have hit the reporters by accident.
and the wqomen would hav emptied water on what every single other occasion would have been someone frum going into the shul by accident.
Are you also a believer in evolution, that everything that got us here today is an accident?
