perhaps the police are too busy giving tickets in order to meet their quotas instead of patroling and doing their jobs

It is the violent and permissive attitude which prevails, not only in NYC, but also throughout the country, which has contributed to our homicide rate, which on a per capita basis, is much greater than Japan's or Western Europe. Many of the homicides are committed by two legged beasts. I remember one homicide in Los Angeles, which was particularly cruel and senseless. A family travelling home at night, made a wrong turn, and wound up in a neighborhood which was run by Hispanic gangs. They only made eye contact for a few seconds with the gang, when shots rang out, and struck and killed a small child in the car. Life means nothing to such savages.

#4 this has nothing to do with the economy it has to do with lawlessness and the bloomberg adminsitration playing with crime statisics and the liberal court system
#1 you are correct i've heard that from friends on the force that they are being forced to issue tickets to and adminstrative judges have been told eveyone pays

That's what we keep screaming
"We need more traffic cops / meter maids"
This will generate more revenue and keep shootings down to Newark levels.

“ Anybody die from trans fats during this time? Thanks King Bloomberg! ”
Plenty of people died of heart attacks and strokes during this time caused by trans fats.

“ these are all terrible neighborhoods ”
Unfortunately, that is not true. The Homecrest neighborhood is a very good one and the "Wealth of Health" store (Maxi Health Vitamins) is only one block away.

Blumberg!! Blumberg!! Blumberg!! We are so glad that he was in china focusing on the environment and global warming it helps reduce the rate of crimes and murders! I'm just disappointed that he came back so fast. He should of stayed there couple of months! He seemed to be unhappy with the US work force! Saying that New Yorkers are not working as hard as the Chinese.. I believe he would make a good president in China! Because for NYC he has done ziltch notha except from emptying our pockets for all the ticketing!
