Manhattan, NY – Mike Tyson is in talks with Moshe Malamud of the Franklin Mint to launch a high-end restaurant chain, a source said.

The two talked shop at Malamud’s favorite kosher eatery, Solo, on Madison Avenue, where Tyson dined with his pregnant wife, Lakiha Spicer, on mushroom soup and mixed vegetables.
Tyson, who announced his decision to follow a strict vegan diet last spring, is said to have interest in breaking into the kosher-food business. “They discussed the concept as well as the name, but nothing was finalized,” a rep for Solo said. Tyson’s rep had no comment.
When it is actually opened let us know.
Grilled, partially severed ear is their signature dish.
This is not healthy; it is dangerous. Everytime I dine at these prominant hi-end joints, I gets chestpain when I see the bill.
he will probably fire waiters using fire.
and he will collect tips (of peoples ears).
lol
I just hope he doesn’t think human ears are kosher!
who is going to give him a hecsher
You gotta have rachmanus on Tyson, nebach.
Specializing in HammanTachen?
Just what we need– a kosher restaurant from Mike Tyson–I’m sure he will get an earful on the subject
I love when these people think that kosher has “some” special ingredients in them………..
That any yid would have any association with this troubled individual is a shanda. We have enough “image” problems without wrapping ourselves around convicted abusers etc. Maybe he an Abrahmoff can start up a new venture but no legitimate yiddeshe businessman should be associated with this guy.
I suspect the coversation went something like this…. Tyson: “Holy ______ these prices are rediculous, I should open a place and charge this much for soup” and then he left.
actualy to all you fools he is a moslem and probably understands the problems of kosher food quiet well as far a getting a hechsher as long as he has a full time rep of the organization it will be more kosher trhen what we have in frum areas they are the ones playing games the real problem he will probably beat up the competion
They should call it “More bang for the buck”.. Another name might be “lox, bagels and broken noses”.
I guess there will be lots of Punch served.
As for a previous post questioning who would give the hasgocha, what difference does it make?!?!?
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Tyson converted to Islam. Maybe he just wants a nice Halal eatery?
I “daven” at the same table as Moshe Malamud on Shabbos, let me tell you, he is one shrewd businessman and a big “baal chessed”. He has a thororugh understanding of the hospitality business. I for one along with AZ, DJ, MP, NB and SR wish Moshe a lot of “Hatzlachaa” with this and his other ventures.
Did he earmark a piece of property yet.
A Mike Tyson restaurant chain? That makes about as much sense as a George Foreman grilling device! Oh wait….
will he be using tyson chicken???
1) tigers may eat kosher but they are not a kosher animal
2) i dont want to eat there when he will lose his cool
Love the comments keep em coming!
Wrong….he got what he deserved. With all the yidden who follow the law and pay their bills, the few “bad apples” seem to get the majority of the press coverage and sympathy from the yeshivish media. The same with yidden who seem to find great ego satisfaction in associating themselves with challenged goyim like Tyson.
Cauliflower (ear) on the menu, of course.
please stop the stupid, immature jokes. do you all think “ear” jokes are still clever? they are not. and even if they were, do we need thirty of them?
STOP, FOOLS!
Keep the comments coming–I haven’t laughed this hard for a long time–
