Borough Park, Brooklyn, NY - NYPD of the 66th Pct on the scene responding to an anti Neturei Karta rally in Boro-Park tonight.
An anti Neturei Karta rally is being held on the corner of 12th Avenue and 48th Street in front of the Park House Hotel in Boro-Park where Neturei Karta member Moshe Aryeh Friedman is staying.
Moshe Aryeh Friedmann, iss accused by the Jewish Community for harmful conduct, particularly through his contacts with anti- Semitic circles. Friedmann, was a speaker at the Iranian government hosted-conference aimed at minimizing the Holocaust in which more than 6 million Jews died at the hands of Nazi Germany. The two-day meeting was internationally condemned. While in Tehran Friedmann was pictured embracing Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

I strongly agree with anon 936.
For toooo many years, people who know absolutley nothing about the Satmar Rov, go around saying that his sefer says such and such and this and that about the medina. These people never held his sefer in their hands.
Why doesn't somebody, once and for all, provide the exact chapter and verse and page number in the sefer where he articulates his shita on the medina.

January 14, 2007 -- Some 200 people gathered outside a Brooklyn hotel last night to protest the presence of an anti-Israel rabbi who spoke last month at a Holocaust-denial conference in Iran.
Moshe Aryeh Friedman, a member of Neturei Karta, the group that attended the controversial meeting in Tehran, lives in Vienna but was purportedly spotted Friday in Borough Park, where his wife's family resides, a source said.
"We didn't know who he was," said a hotel manager who refused to give her name. "Someone checked him in with another name."
The manager said Friedman was whisked out of the hotel by police late last night.
A contingent of protesters was allowed inside to confirm Friedman was no longer a guest and the crowd began to disperse early today.
"Mr. Friedman believes the Holocaust never happened. He should not be allowed in Borough Park or anywhere else," said Mordechai Levy of the Jewish Defense Organization. "He shouldn't be staying at the Park House. He belongs in the nut house."

I was at the hotel with my children as a guest on Shabbos. He had registered under his wife's name and the police said they could not kick him out. I think the hotel got some help tonight in getting him to leave. On Shabbos night, some yidden were threatening to, chas v'Shalom, do dangerous things to the hotel. It was quite disturbing to the guests and staff. I still have friends staying at the hotel and hope their stay is comfortable.

He made a reservation under a false name. The hotel didn't know it was him until he checked in and someone recognized him. They put up a sign saying they had no connection with him. The people outside screaming were mostly teenage bums who had nothing better to do on Shabbos than disturb the guests who checked in not knowing about this and ruining their stay.
