Few details are known about the project and Mendlowitz’s Facebook status indicates that he is asking the public to submit original compositions within the next 24 hours for a major recording and grand stage production. Mendlowitz, a veteran producer, has produced dozens of concerts and some of the biggest names in music including Mordechai Ben David, Avraham Fried in addition to founding the HASC concert series. His most recent concert, The Event, held at Madison Square Garden in 2009 was completely sold out.
In an exclusive interview with VIN News, Mendlowitz declined to release additional details saying only that the project would “provide many people who are serious about the talents that the Ribono Shel Olam gave them, with the opportunity to show those talents.”
Mendlowitz promised that more details about this exciting event would be released shortly.
Anyone who would like to submit an original song can email a demo to [email protected].
It has been a very tough week for all of us we all could use some music and a concert right now but we still are unable to attend because we can’t get there maybe we could hijack a snow plow and plow our way there.

I want tovie the taxie
Aderet is going to do great #s with this. Shea has been working on this concept for awhile
“Chazzen” I can tell from your name that you enjoy Chazunes. Very nice. I hope you will continue to have lots to choose from. However, please respect that not everyone likes that and there’s nothing wrong with some variety.
and Chazzen, btw i hate chazunes
What is this “turning to the public for material” garbage? Oh I’ll tell you: He doesn’t want to spend a dime on the real talent; the songs and the songwriters. We have some amazing song writers that make a living writing great Jewish music. This “public” nonsense is a ploy to get songs for nothing, that’s what it is.
I’m just saying.
