I, for one, choose not to listen. All I expect to hear is a heap of defensive rhetoric. I no longer trust Bloomberg at all. I wish he leaves politics completely. Whichever story is true, there was clear mismanagement. Budget cuts are one thing. Plunging the city into chaos without emergency services is another. This irresponsibility is gross, not a slipup. We spent the week listening to empty promises, then numerous versions of who else to blame. Tough. He brought incompetence to the mayor's office, and he is fully responsible. He should pay the ultimate price and resign. He will now go down in history as the blizzard mayor.

As for the other remedies, how about doing something to make New Yorkers feel proud of their city and its leadership? He has led the city by taking certain preoccupations and making them the mainstay of the city. Bike lanes, waterfalls, criminalizing the motorists, cutting the staff of vital agencies to frightening levels, and defending all this. NO. Go away, and let New York find someone else to restore our dignity.

What did you expect? Guess who hired him and is paying his salary? We need someone objective to speak on this. We New Yorkers are peeved, and can get carried away with anger. The mayor's cronies will all defend him and speak party line. Good job? You gotta be kidding. Since the mosque fiasco, no one has been able to convince me that the mayor cares an iota about his constituents. He gets these whims, and bases his political life on them, enacting them, pushing them, without caring what his people want.

Can Zev Brenner find someone objective?

All the anger at the mayor this week is not just because of the snow fiasco.

The people in this city are fed up, outraged at the sheer chutzpa & i know whats best for you of king bloomberg.

Voters term limits rights, excessive gotcha parking tickets, sanitation tickets, spending taxpayer funds on silly art exhibits (east river waterfalls), bike lanes etc, turning this once great city into a elite tourist unlivable & unafforable place for he average Joe New Yorker.
This week we exploded!
