Long Branch, NJ - A 55-year-old man was arrested for charges that he racked up more than $155,000 on four credit cards he obtained by using someone else's personal information.
The man, Larry Kushner, was charged with second-degree identity theft, third-degree fraudulent use of a credit card and fourth-degree false statements made in procuring a credit card.
Investigators said that Kushner had obtained four credit cards using the personal information of an acquaintance he had solicited to participate in a real estate investment venture, and he used the credit cards for trips to Florida, Chicago and Israel.
Superior Court Judge Paul F. Chaiet set bail at $250,000. If convicted on all charges, Kushner could face a state prison sentence of up to 16 years.

Thank you Mr. Anti-Basher.
Please don't get all worked up so you don't end up back in the ICU (cholilah).
I have never bothered answering any of the so called Charedi-Bashers. They are what we call "Yiddeshe anti-semiten". Chances are they are really just one or two fellows who keep posting numerous times under the "anonymous" banner making other readers think that there are many voices shouting similar comments which usually isn't the case.

OK, all you charaidi bashers. Lets hear about Larry Kushner needing to steal because he was sitting in kollel and not working to support his wife and 27 uneducated children.
What a bunch of pathetic losers.
One chosid gets arrested and you guys start yelling about every person who ever dabened mincha in a satmar shteibel anywhere in the universe. One litvisher charaidi gets accused of anything and you mouth off against every rosh yeshiva back to R' Chaim Valoszhin.
But when it is Larry instead of Eli or Leizer you all have nothing to say. You are all a bunch of pathetic anti-semites.
You can all knock Satmar but when I was in the NYU ICU the ladys who kept coming around to help my wife get through her worst hours couldn't speak enough English to carry on a conversation with her but in a mix of yinglish and hungarian they managed to offer her food, lodging, financial help and a shoulder to lean on. I don't recall he mentioning the Young Israel Bikkur Cholim stopping by or the Lubavitch Bikkur Cholim offering her an apartment across the street or the YU Bikkur Cholim offering to pay for a better doctor if our health plan wouldn't cover one.
All you guys ever mention is the few bad apples in the charaidi world but never the fact that without the charaidim, especially the chassidim, orthodoxy in america would all look like one of the orthodox-lite havens of Northern New Jersey. Just once I'd like to see one of the wives of the wealthy doctors in Teaneck or Livingston come to the hospital where their husband operates to give out hot kosher meals to even one floor of strangers, forget about floor after floor, bed after bed, day after day.
