OK.. Very simple run in debate. The first person to raise the Nazi/Holocaust card loses.
So, you lose.
What did this discussion ahve to do with the Nazis?

I as a longtime H member, I proudly state that: yes, Boro Park Shomrim run,s into burning buildings; crawled into burning and flipped over cars, stood at the edge of a cliff to rescue a dangling person; rescued a child from the fangs of a crazed dog; swam into dangerous waters and hopped from roof to roof to save a jumper! shall I go on? If you have seen the paperwork as you claim, then why don't you get a copy and post it for all to see.
Simply put, you are full of it.

to 11:19pm -- I beg to differ, as a longtime H member, I proudly state that: yes, we've run into burning buildings; crawled into burning and flipped over cars, trucks, trains and busses; stood at the edge of a cliff to rescue a dangling person; rescued a child from the fangs of a crazed dog; swam into dangerous waters and hopped from roof to roof to save a jumper! shall I go on?
Hate to burst your bubble about the mesiras nefesh bit, but it's OK to fantasize once in a while, now get back down to reality and get your facts right before you bash.

What are you planing on doing, shooting everyone who doesnt fit the mold of your prejudice?? you further state, "who will clean up our neighborhood"? Exactly what plans do your have outlined (other than shooting everyone) to clean up the BP neighborhood (the precinct with the lowest stats in the city - did you know that?)
Go back to Yeshiva and learn a little, you'll see that it's not all about playing cops and robbers.
Two points for all the SHOMRIM members of BP, F, CH and W. you guys ALL do a great job, keep up the "watching", you'll be well rewarded.

BSSP coordinators will NEVER carry firearms. yes, you can fill out an application and show it to everyone, but dont be so naive - there are much more deserving individuals who should be carrying firearms and are are not granted permits. firearm permita are issued thru the NYPD - the same people who hate them (us).
just remember a few years ago when they made a party and PD banned anyone from attending. think about it, why would they want a watch group armed?? immagine if the coordinators of all watch groups were armed? yes, we're talking about hundreds of people from all walks of life carying guns. sound crazy? it is!!
for those of us who do carry a firearm... when was the last time we actually unholstred it??
they teach that if you're going to pull, pull to use and if you're going to use it, make sure there's only one story, vehamayvin yovin.

FSSP-
What does being a 'certified watch group' and having watched a 'perp' for 5 hours have anything to do with the move underway to apply for carry-permits?
You obviously don't really know what is going behind the scenes, please don't spew what you don't know.
I have seen the applications and can say for certain the push is on. If 'we' don't clean up our neighborhood, who will?

perp was followed throughout boro park for almost 5 hours. Good job, Shomrim...

There is no truth to the rumors of coordinators wanting to be armed. The BSSP is a certified watch group by the NYPD and may not carry arms.
What most people don't know, is that this perp was followed throughout boro park for almost 5 hours. He was first spotted by a member who thought he looked suspicious, and followed him for 5 hours.
This is proactive patrol, and not reactive. If not for the sharp eye of this member, the perp would have gotten away.

I heard this afternoon, from someone that knows, that because of a few recent incidents in BP, Shomrim is looking at getting permits for the coordinators to carry guns.
It makes some sense, given how things have been lately.
Good job, Shomrim...
