An Open Letter to Assemblyman Dov Hikind

    24

Assemblyman Dov Hikind has once again thrown himself amidst controversy, over the Israeli West Bank development. He is supporting plans to promote housing expansions in contested regions, where the Israeli government is primarily trying to push back such advances.

Mr. Hikind is flexing his political muscle and we, your constituents, acknowledge that. However, at the same time, we ask our representative to keep his eyes on issues closer at hand. Your fellow citizens await good news on the Cell Phone Tower issues on the Adirondack Northway – enough tragedies have been suffered! At the funeral of Harav Efroim Langer Z”L, you had pledged to inject yourself into this issue, and we are expecting you to follow though. Deliver on your promises and help us resolve this matter. Your words ring hollow to our ears, as you have not done anything to back them up. Those roads are used by so many of your voting bloc, who urgently need this basic safety on an almost daily basis.

You have proven to be successful in areas where your interests lie; you’ve prevented an internationally famous magazine from publishing a feature about Holocaust deniers, and confronted the US Coast Guard about religious headgear issues. As an assemblyman, you have the power to help finalize this matter in Albany and reduce the dangerous lack of cell phone coverage. Will you claim that I-87 is out of your district and it is not your role to involve yourself? Yet, isn’t the Northway closer to home than the Israeli district halfway across the world?

Perhaps, Mr. Hikind, you can be ‘’very very involved,” in problems that we contend with at home? According the Capital Confidential, you have a scheduled interview with CNN on Thursday. Face the public on national TV and use your influence to promote the dire need for those towers. You are surely aware of what Chazal say, “He who has saved a life, it is as if he has saved the world”.

I am sure you all know who I am and I must say that Dov Hikind may know the name Efraim Langner but as far as our family knows he did know him “PERSONALLY”. I must also confirm that he has not called our family and that he has not shown up for the shiva. Sorry if this offends anybody but I try to keep it real.

Dov told yesterday to all people who called him, “No one has asked me to help on this”, so stop with your BS telling us Hikind was involved.

Don’t try to give Dov any credit behind the scene, he is a sore loser.

The credit rest purely on Voters like myself, people who called, and the Honorable Sen. Little.

If your an insider, then ask your great Friend Dov

why he hasn’t called the Langner family since, nor did he come to Mencham Ovel at the shiva.

    2. Are your initials P R?
No and by the way who is he, maybe I should call him to and drive him nuts.

3.Are you on the City payroll?
    I wish I was.

    4. Are you NOGEA BEDOVOR?
    Don’t get the question.

Dov Hikind has told me today, that he never received an official request to get involved in the cell tower issue..

What a fake and phony this Dov is, I wonder who called him in Israel to get involved, or who called him from Teen Magazine about the Holocaust deniers interview that he got involved.

He is a BIG moth with small feet, He is an immature kid, and is not even embarrassed to tell the voters of his district “OH NO ONE HAS AKSD ME TO GET INVOLVED,” he belongs in a kindergarten class.

FYI: I don’t know if any of you you know, that Dov did not even call the Langner family, nor did he come to Mencham Ovel at the shiva, he never contacted the family after this terrible tradagy

    Dov Hikind Belongs in Israel.

    Dov Shame on you.

Hmmm. I’m wondering if the APA manipulated Hikind and pledged to spruce up his garden or something.

Obviously, Dov must enjoy the support of the majority of his constituents – he keeps getting re-elected.

Those that speak ill of his efforts on behalf of Israel are out of touch with the vast “silent majority.”

Dov’s efforts on behalf of Am Yisroel & Medinat Yisroel demonstrate a true committment to ahavat yisroel & do not come at the expense of pressing local issues and/or the local needs of our community.

I’m an insider on this issue:

Dov is working very hard on this issue. At this time Dov is not going to publicly discuss his strategy on the issue, because he hopes that doing it in a diplomatic way will do the job. You could be sure that when Dov sees that this avenue comes to a dead end he will be in the fore front of criticizing who ever it at fault.

Just be aware that all the phone calls to the elected official’s are working. Just continue the pressure.

FYI: Dov knew Mr. Langner personally.

Dov Hikind is simply a Zionist plant to siphon off as much money as possible for the State of Israel. He is paid by the NY taxpayer to be an assemblyman for Brooklyn, NOT for Efrat or Beitar. I think it is absolutely scandalous. If any other assemblyman would spend as much time on issues concerning Italy or Africa, the media would devour him!

I am writing in response to your posting on Vos IZ Neias regarding Sovereign Bank.

My husband enjoys banking by phone. He called in to the automated system and heard that there was a four hundred dollar deposit which he knew nothing about. When he tried it again, a day later, there was no mention of that deposit anymore. I don’t know what happened there, but they seem to be playing around with the accounts.

A quote Dov gave to Times Union Jan 30 2007

Assemblyman Dov Hikind, who represents a largely Orthodox and Hasidic district in Brooklyn, said he will inject himself into the issue.

“But not just because of this tragedy. There’s a bigger issue here. It’s not just the Adirondacks where I can’t get service. I could be standing on 14th Street and Seventh Avenue. It’s a disgrace that these large companies that advertise for us to use their coverage have dead spots in the middle of the city.”

“Maybe something good will come of this terrible tragedy,” he said.

how about we take a vote and see how Dov rates here, he is the most arrogant assemblyman in Brooklyn, all he does he runs around and looks where he can make headlines.

Tell me one thing he has accomplished for Brooklyn?

everyone says the same think, he talks a lot, but delivers nothing.

How stop berating Assemblyman Hikind and give him much kudos for what he’s been doing for the community.

I understand how tragic a loss of life is and it is important to find a solution but have you thought about the possibility that the solution will also enable thousand of Frum yidden to talk on their cell phone while driving in this area. How many death are we preventing? Let look at the accident statistics in the area a year from now.
