Terry, who has long been known for his inflammatory and controversial statements, is the founder of Operation rescue, a pro life group that was known for blockading entrances to abortion clinics in the late 1980’s. He has been arrested more than forty times in conjunction with his anti abortion protests, most recently when he violated a no-trespass order from the University of Notre Dame while protesting a graduation visit from President Obama who is pro-choice.

Terry is also the founder of Society of Truth and Justice, another pro-life organization and lost two congressional bids as a Repulican candidate, one in New York in 1998 and the other in Florida in 2006.

At least Randall Terry isn’t an anti-Semite like the last Presidential candidate he supported, Patrick Buchanan.

Nevertheless Terry excused the murder of a doctor who provide abortion services while every other pro-life activist group — including the organization he founded, Operation Rescue — was condemning the violence in the strongest possible terms. Just as Levin brings discredit to Torah Judaism, Terry brings discredit to the pro-life movement.

Rabbi Levin speaks the inconvenient truth! He does not live off making money thru the government, in contrast to other community activists, that makes him free of ulterior motives.

Levin is throwing his support behind someone who has no chance of becoming elected. Foolish on Levins’ part.

I find it quite sad that many of the commentators here have views on abortion that are closer to the Catholic Church’s than many of our poskim.

    A) Where does Charlie Hall , whom you attempted to mock, say his situation was right before birth (experience would tell me anencephalic symptoms are recognized long before birth)
    B) I find it funny that you mock my knowledge of the term late-term and than admit you have no clue what it means
C)As to your blanket statement against doctors killing a baby while it comes out, that is usually only done when their is a danger to the mother (as a matter ofact that is the law in most states only permitting it in time of danger) Well, when Roshe oh rubo is not out there is a machlokes the mishna permits one to chop up the baby, the Catholic Church “assurs” it. And all those pundits who scream against it are basing it upon their christian beliefs I hope you consider the mishna and gemara and all rishonim and achronim big enough rabbanim against the church.
    D) Will you have the intellectual courage to answer my simple question that I posted twice before or will you respond with more irrelevant, tepid, silly and hyperbolic statements.

“I’m not going to research something that is my opinion.” That says it all.

That’s all you have to say after defending Charlie’s misrepresentation of Tiller –
“Late term abortions are VERY rarely performed and are often in situations that would be mutar halachically such as a severe fetal defect or a threat to the life of a mother. Dr. Tiller was one of the few doctors in the US who would handle such cases.”
The implication is he didn’t do anything wrong. If you want to know the truth, (which maybe you’re not interested in,) the monster committed murder acc. to the Torah, nothing to do with whatever the Catholics hold. Read the following article and see all the types of abortions the guy committed – “Slaying of George Tiller Focuses Attention on Late-Term Abortions” in the Washington Post!
