Beverly Hills, CA - For the first time in its history, the U.S. city of Beverly Hills have a Persian born mayor.
Jimmy Jamshid Delshad An Iranian Jewish Immigrant will claim two titles at his March 27 inauguration - mayor of Beverly Hills and top Iranian-born public official in the United States.
Some estimates put the Persian community in Beverly Hills as high as 20% of its population, while some claim it to be even higher, close to half or more.
