Autism has reached epidemic proportions with a new case diagnosed every 18 minutes. ICARE was founded seven years ago by Mr. Joshua Weinstein in an effort to identify causes, methods of detection and treatment of autism. The Global Autism Center is expected to open in 2014 at the former home of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design on Mt. Scopus in Jerusalem, providing the world’s leading autism authorities with the a state of the art five acre facility for their research in addition to the world’s first university level school of professional autism studies, a comprehensive educational center and an international autism foundation.

    J. Morton Davis, an investment banker, entrepreneur and venture capitalist is the chairman of the DH Blair Investment Banking Corp, which specializes in identifying and investing in emerging companies. He has helped over 400 companies in his career and his known for his passion for empowering individuals to maximize their fullest potential. In recognition of this attention and dedication to the individual, ICARE will present Davis with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the March 16th Capitol Hill luncheon, which will give influential members of congress an opportunity to learn more about autism.

Ezra Friedlander of The Friedlander Group which is coordinating the event told VIN News, “The nexus between icare4autism, J. Morton Davis and having an event on Capitol Hill will no doubt be the catalyst that will drive the best research to find a cure for autism. When we have the commitment of members of congress, the best minds in autism and a philanthropist of the magnitude of J. Morton Davis, I have no doubt that there will be historical breakthroughs as a result of this important event in our nation’s capital.”

We wish them great Hatzlochah. Till now, however, it was just a money making PR adventure. They have discovered NOTHING for research. The word “International Center” and Global Center” sounds really great. But besides the PR from Mr Friedlander nothing is really happening.
