Israel - Condition of Teen Injured in Hamas Rocket Attack on Bus Worsens
Israel - Sixteen year old Daniel Wipliech, who was seriously injured in last week’s rocket attack on an Israeli school bus in southern Israel, has taken a turn for the worse. The Soroka Medical Center said he is now in critical condition.
The teen is hospitalized at Soroka’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where he was transferred to after last week’s attack. “The situation is very serious, his brain most likely sustained severe injury and we see no evidence of any brain activity,” Professor Shaul Sofer, Chief of Pediatric ICU said.
He added that “the injury is mortal and we don’t use that term often, Daniel is in “a deep coma and is completely unresponsive. We are very concerned with his condition.
