New York, NY – Real estate mogul Donald Trump says he expects Texas Gov. Rick Perry will do “very nicely” as a presidential candidate. But the reality TV show host isn’t ready to endorse anyone in the race and says he still may run as an independent.

Speaking to The Associated Press on Tuesday, Trump said voters are looking for a candidate who will shake up the GOP contest and that Perry is well positioned to do so.
But Trump says he would join the race next year if he thought the eventual GOP nominee couldn’t beat President Barack Obama. He says he’ll make a decision in the spring.
Trump defends Perry’s suggestion that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke would be committing a treasonous act if he pumped more money into the economy.

It’s nice to know that people are judging him based on his policies, record, and views as opposed to things like his looks or, I don’t know his accent, and automatically comparing him to Bush since they are from the same state. It’s nice to know we can look past things like the way someone speaks and instead listen to what they are saying.
Good ole Donald Trump was more than happy to take advantage of this country’s bankruptcy laws to save himself millions of dollars but he begrudges helping the middle class. And I am NOT a Bernanke fan.

I suppose the one can’t control who is going to endorse (or almost endorse, as in this case) him. I am sure Perry would have preferred for Trump for keep his mouth shot, and so would I. Needless to say, however, even Trump would be a vast improvement on Obama. Or, according to PMO, and I readily concur, even a dog would be.
