“We don’t know why on this trip that he’s in the United States now, he’s not in any black community. We don’t know that,” fumed Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) Tuesday evening at a jobs forum in Detroit, which is suffering a 12.5 percent unemployment rate, double Iowa’s 6 percent.
“We want to give him every opportunity, but our people are hurting. The unemployment is unconscionable. We don’t know what the strategy is,” she continued.
Well try talking to a wall. It’s money that they are looking for and nothing else. Disgusting.
Stupid comment. Why did Jesee James rob banks.??? Because thats where the money was. Why does a politician campaign in rural midwestern towns rather than inner cities? Because thats where the undecided swing voters are located.
Oh brother! (lol) I don’t know of ANY President or Presidential candidate who’s bothered to go into places like Harlem, except for maybe Bill Clinton! (Who’s actually got an office there- lol)
Bobby Kennedy didn’t mind touring the black neighborhoods when he ran, neither did his brother before him, John F Kennedy.
But beyond these few people I’ve mentioned…nobody bothers to visit these places because all they care about is the undecided voters, who live in other places. It’s all politics. Obama isn’t doing anything different, than Rick Perry’s planning on doing, ok? You think Rick Perry will stop by Compton, LA, the next time he’s in California? I DON’T THINK SO.
To me, however this signifies a deeper problem, that candidates & so forth, won’t go to these places: it’s the same reason I think, nobody will give these people a job too!
I mean, the National Unemployment Average is 9% right? But for African Americans… it’s almost 17%!!! And that IS unconscionable! So what do numbers like THAT say about what’s really happening here?
You won’t see any candidates bothering to really go these neighborhoods… because those kinds of people are not VALUED in America. They are USED.
Obama does have at least the intellect of a child. He is aware that blacks will vote for him against a white candidate, and the issues have no influence on their vote. it is also a dirty lie to claim that this trip is not campaigning. Obama, as most any other incumbent candidate, will continue to exploit his presidency to campaign at the expense of the taxpayer. Just relabel this as bringing his policies about employment and the economy to rural America. But we all know what this really is.
May we be fortunate to see him soundly defeated in 2012, and his political career put to rest.

Listen he’s not going to the Black neighborhoods because even the Black people have no faith in themselves, just like the Arabs come to Israel to make money and life comfortably and then use whatever ignorance they can capitalize on to further their own agendas.
Yeah, it’s nice for him to go to everybody, but he didn’t buy a 1.1 million dollar bus to go on a cross-country vacation trip. He’s hoping to get his money’s worth, by getting undecided votes for himself.
He knows he already has the black vote in his pocket so he figures, why bother paying any attention to them, especially if they’re not big donors. They’re fools if they all automatically vote for him again in 2012. And the headline should’ve read “big black MADE-IN-CANADA bus.” Notice how none of the left-wing media cares or speaks about the shamelessness of that???
