In my opinion, it’s usually better to have non-jews representing us than jews. While non-jewish politcians constantly need to prove that they’re not antisemetic, jewish politicians are under the spotlight that they put their religion before their country, and those try to show that they can support agendas that are in conflict with judaism.

Weprin nebach was a Jew who lost his way. Clearly a Democratic party hack, whose only qualification was that he would vote exactly the way the party bosses would want. Very wishy washy on giving his own opinion on things. Simply clueless on the needs of the people whom he wished to represent (especially since he didn’t even live in the district).
Well, at least he has a few weeks to Rosh HaShana to reflect and do teshuva (as we all must)….

I emailed Mr Drudge and filled him in a little about the race.

Granted inzer mentshin are waking up to the games of the tax & spend socialist liberal democrat workers party HOWEVER this was more of a vote AGAINST Weprin who as an “orthodox” jew voted for the happy people bill. He made the situation worse when he blew it off by saying he isnt running for Rosh Yeshiva. THATS WHAT DID HIM IN.

Weirdo that he was, Anthony Wiener did nothing illegal. The Democrats pushed him out because they had zero doubts that the seat would remain Democrat. Well, what do you know? I personally felt Wiener got so little backing from his colleagues because he was a Jew … so now the Democrats can chew on this one for a while. That said, I think time will show that this was the worst thing the Jews of District 9 could have done to themselves.

I think it might be more like revenge of the nerds. After all, who else wants to see America fail so much as the radical pluralist who hates the American ideal of liberal thought and interests. Of course, I bet that it might be possible for the arrogant to claim victory since after all, this was always a Democratic district for 80 some years or more.

its nice that turner won, but we shouldn’t be so arrogantly against obama, because after all he still is in power, and might be there for some time…

I don’t think Mr. O is Haman although I’m very glad you voted in Turner because on a national level he will be much better than the democrat. I read an article from the UK that said Weprin was an orthodox Jew. What does that mean, he eat kosher? He doesn’t sound to orthodox to me. Congratulation NY, you are smart people, you vote the candidate and aren’t fooled by the BS.

Weprin did not lose because god punished him for his gay marriege vote, its interesting how people know god’s ways, there are a lot of other jewish disgraces who are succesfull whatever they do in private or in public, even though they do not represent what hashem likes.

But the drudge headline is a “shreklicha chilul hashem” some hotbloods don’t understand the meaning of the fact that we are still in gules and we have to conform to whatever our president wants, all I can say is that if I would be obama now, I would hate israel with a passion, and rightfully so, israel is an ungratefull ally, and as an american citizen and tax payer, I had enough!!!

“The most powerful news aggregation site in the world…”

Hyperbole maybe? According to Alexa.com which measures traffic ranking of websites, the Drudge Report ranks 414th globally, while the Huffington Post ranks 90th.

Additionally, calling it a “news aggregation site” is dishonest at best. like the Huffington Post, Drudge is nothing more than a carefully constructed propaganda hyperlinker with warped headlines designed to cater to a specific political narrative. The idea that these sensational tabloid sites, heavy on celebrity gossip and half truths are news aggregates, is a joke.

Hopefully he’ll continue forward with the Republican party platform and we can see programs like Section 8 , WIC, medicaid and food stamps completely dismantled.

You think Rabbi Levin made a lechayim today in shul?

Hopefully he will help the Republican party fulfill their promise to finally end wasteful programs like Section 8, WIC, food stamps and medicaid.

While I’m happy Turner won, I still empathize with Welprin.
It must be painful and humiliating for him and his family, that the Orthodox community is publicly denouncing him and throwing him under the bus for his unorthodox votes.

Everyone should re register as republicans in order to influence the GOP primary race and ensure that our next president is not selected for us by the media.

This election gave us a second chance to save new york from a second earthquake as maybe we can elect enough anti gay politicians and demand a statewide election on this terrible issue. Most voters oppose gay marriage. Another point is that luckily certain areas like Williamsburg,Monroe and Square town were not included in this special election, otherwise Weprin would be the winner. All he needed to do is give a half million democratic dollars to the so called askunim and they would of elected Weprin over Turner despite his immoral vote. The district was made up of idealistic yidden who follow Rav Avigdor Millers teachings and thats why Turner won.

Pindrus’s endorsement has always been the kiss of death, now Weprin knows how Meir Porush felt, and Pindrus knows how his supporters felt(backing a loser)
