Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld says the investigation has found that the Israeli man lost control of his car after he was hit in the head by a stone. Palestinian youths regularly throw stones at Israeli cars in the West Bank.

Israel’s Defense Ministry said on Wednesday that the “results of the investigation show it was a terror attack.” The crash was initially thought to have been an accident.

The father and son were residents of a nearby Israeli settlement.

Friday’s crash took place amid tensions in the West Bank linked to a Palestinian attempt to win U.N. recognition of a Palestinian state.

Not to take away from the culpability of the stone throwers, but does Israel have an “infant seat” law? A child in one of them usually gets out of all but the very worst car crashes alive.

Stones are deadly weapons. Stone throwers should be shot on sight!!!

I’m going to say it again and again. Israel needs to have a death penalty for people who murder.

This was one of the very worst crashes.

The law exists, but is mostly ignored and rarely enforced. When we requested an infant seat at a car rental company, they brought out an ancient seat with knotted straps so tangled that the agent could not extricate them. She then helpfully said that ‘you don’t need to actually attach the seat, the police will never look at how it is attached’. That illustrates the general attitude towards child safety.

Wait a minute. According to Arab violence “apologists” boys throwing stones can’t be murderers or terrorists. They are just angry schoolboys throwing harmless stones. How dare those Israelis for failure to get out of the way properly. . It’s their own fault they are dead!
