In shock, the young Jewish girl lodged a complaint to the Brussels police. The attackers have been identified and will be questioned.

In a statement, the CCOJB asked the judicial authorities to make sure that the investigation be conducted without delay and said it might bring a civil action in this matter.

The Jewish group requested from the Belgian French community Education Minister “to introduce appropriate educational programs in schools to prevent un justified tensions between communities.”

It voiced what it termed the “exasparation” of the Jewish community at the repetition of anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist attacks.

As a “moral authority”, the central Jewish Consistory, the representative body of Jewish religious congregations in the country, also intervened with the authorities to prevent such acts.

Brussels Jewish parliamentarian Viviane Teitelbaum denounced the “silence” of political leaders and most of media after this attack.

Unfortunately I’m not very surprised by this incident. In the last decade the antisemitism is going from bad to worse all across Europe. What’s worse, is that it’s creeping into their governments too. One day it’s Shechita the next, Bris Mila, what next? Oh, I forgot, they’re just compassionate – what a shame they didn’t show us their “compassion” seventy years ago.

Living in Belgium, I’m shocked by the “shocked anti Semitic” shocking headlines. Unfortunately the Central Jewish Consistory an others closely affiliated with them, love an incident like this, so they can blow it out of proportion and drive their agenda to agitate ALIYAH to Israel due to anti Semitism in Europe caused by I . . . . . , part of closing down synagogue streets by the police on Jewish holidays, just to make us feel frightened. It’s about time they stop the nonsense!!

It’s over ! the low birth rates in Europe vs the Moslems means the Islamics have won. Move while u can save your life. Just look at who is taking control in Egypt !! Lebanon! LibyA!h
This is a demographic fact not nonsense. wake up and smell the coffee and look
around Europe like LONDON. It’s oer by any yardstick. Get in touch with reality !!

I also live in Belgium, and yes, antisemtism figures are overly exagerated for Zionist purposes. 10 years ago, the situation was worse in some area of Brussels. Things are improving. I claim that Jews have become so haunted by past antisemitism that they see antisemtism everywhere and everytime. I’m not speaking of this case but others. By the way, we shouldn’t reach any conclusion until the end of the investigation. Unfortunately, past and present experiences show that Jews are also able to invent false antisemtic attacks. So keep quiet until then!
