Jerusalem - Yosef Meir Hazan, a prominent militant in the extremist ultra-Orthodox Sikrikim (Sicarii) group, was released from imprisonment to house arrest at a hearing on Wednesday in the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court.

Hazan, 21, was indicted last Thursday and charged with one count of aggravated assault, one count of aggravated assault against a police officer, and rioting.

Hazan will be under house arrest at his aunt’s residence in Bnei Brak until the end of his trial and will be under the supervision of a rabbi familiar with him, his aunt and his mother.

Despite the state attorney’s objections, Hazan will be allowed to attend morning prayer services for one hour and similarly will be able to leave the residence for an hour for afternoon and evening prayer services, accompanied by his supervising rabbi. The court requested a deposit of NIS 10,000, and signed guarantees of NIS 8,000 from Hazan and each of his three supervisors.

Ultra retarded maybe, orthodox? In your Torah it says to spit on women who dress differently then you? Please dont call him orthodox.
I saw this week the Rebbe of Toldos Aron visited the town of Deal in jersey, and I was thinking, how would his followers treat these same women who opened their doors for him, if they were walking in Mea Shearim?
We all know the answer to that.

Just because they dress the same as these wackos, toldos aharon has nothing to do with sikrikim - I know the Rebbe's son Reb Moshe goes out of his way to be mekarev everyone no matter how they dress and always strives to make a kiddush Hashem. I have even seen him shmoozing with soldiers like good friends

Looks like the court realized that the accusations aren't necessarily all true and he isn't so dangerous to be released.

Sikrikim and the like do not represent Toldos Aharon or any other sect.
They represent only themselves.

Looks like you're unfamiliar with jerusalem chareidy politics. Toldos Aron is actually in a bitter fight with the sikrikim. remember what happened last year sukkos when the sikrikim wanted to disrupt the simchas beis hashoava in toldos aron and a fist fight broke out between the two camps.
You might confuse toldos aron with toldos avrom yitzchok, the later of which is in odds with toldos aron and therefore stick up with the sikrikim.

Fair point but Its not Moshe hes not the one, but other kids of the rabbi go out of their way to be mekarev every every yid no matter what even the rabbi himself does!! You have to undertand so called "Sikrikim" are just a small group of maybe 20/30 familys and thats it everybody else there is normal as can be and they know where right and where wrong.

#9 you ignore the fact that the sikrikim were able to muster a large crowd to protest in front of a store and a very large crowd to protest when one of their own was beaten by the gerrers.
Frum people of a habit of saying it's only a few. The "few" are obviously supported by many. If the "many" would stand up to the "few" these louts couldn't operate., but they don't because they are in fact supported by the many.

Shame on us.

What happened to the legal aphorism that " a person is considered to be innocent - until he is proved guilty"?

Or is this case going to degenerate into the mass public pre-court lynching that surrounds the Aron Levy case in New York?

You know there were jewish people in fact rabbis!! by the occupy wall street protests now can someone blame you for tha Cause you didnt stand up against them?? NO!! Although it is and should be the right thing that whenever someone does something that doesnt represent the view of global judaism it should get renounced. doesnt mean you can get blamed for that!! And for the sake of the truth "toldos aaron" and the "eidah" have come out alot of times already against sikrikim and their terrorism way so first get your facts straightened out and know the stories before you go and bash its very easy to bash the hard/good way is to be lekaf zechus as long as you dont know both sides and remember this this! "there is Allways 2 sides to every coin" if youll have this in front of you at all times life will be much better/easier!!!

First of all, there were no rabbis by the "occupiers." And second, the best way to deal with those "occupy" degenerates throwing tantrums to get attention is to ignore them, not to "stand up" against them. And it seems like it is what is actually being done: in two months tops those filthy, foul smelling, pot smoking shreds of human debris will be thoroughly forgotten.
