Clark County, NV - County Extending GOP Caucus Vote For Sabbath Observers |

Clark County, NV - Nevada Republican Party leaders say results of next week’s presidential caucus will be released through Twitter and Google.
In a conference call Friday, state party leaders also said results from all but Nevada’s largest county will be released starting at 5 p.m. PST.
Clark County results in Las Vegas will come sometime after 7 p.m., when a special evening caucus begins there for Jewish voters marking the Sabbath. The move will delay results from the state’s fifth-in-the-nation presidential nominating contest by several hours.
The Clark County Republican Party says the nighttime caucus to accommodate roughly 500 conservative Jewish voters and others who observe the traditional weekly day of worship. The move comes after casino billionaire and Newt Gingrich supporter Sheldon Adelson raised concerns about the Sabbath conflict.
