Queens, NY - A 20-foot tree was uprooted from a sloping Queens street, where it fell and seriously injured a woman.
Parents and their children were enjoying a street fair along Myrtle Avenue in Ridgewood, where they heard a loud crackling sound.
Seconds later, the tree fell striking a woman in the head.

A Queens Jewish Center is in shock after several of their Torah's and silver items were apparently robbed from the center.
Someone broke into the center and stole eight of the nine Torah's and the silver crowns and pointers.
The thief gained access to the keys that open the gate to the Ark and were able to disarm the alarm, police said.
