A few days ahead of the fourth anniversary of the attacks, Ajmal Kasab, 24, the only terrorist captured alive after the 26 November 2008 terror attack in Mumbai, was hanged in a jail in Pune, India, on 21 November 2012 authorities said. Kasab was convicted of murder and other crimes in May 2010. More than 160 people died in the three-day attack on Mumbai by 10 gunmen, nine of whom were killed by security forces.
