The protesters were protesting in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners jailed in Israeli who had launched an open-ended hunger strike to stress their demands for better living conditions. One of the hundreds of Palestinian prisoners on the mass hunger strike in Israeli jails had been hospitalized in a ‘semi-conscious’ state on 01 May, the Physicians for Human Rights Israel organization said the same day.
