Japan, U.S. wrap up joint military exercises

Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and U.S. Navy vessels, including USS George Washington and USS Essex, sail in formation in the Pacific Ocean east of Okinawa island, Japan, 10 December 2010. In a show of bilateral power, the United States and Japan conducted Exercise Keen Sword from 3-13 December off the Japanese coast. South Korean military officials participated as observers.
