Initial reports from local media stated that an armed suspect, identified as a certain Vergante Negosyo, had an altercation with a married couple inside a residential building in Manila’s Sampaloc district when gunshots were heard. The husband died from gunshot wounds and his wife was rushed to the hospital, while Negosyo was arrested and taken into police custody for further investigation.
