According to local sources, the head of the observer team, Norwegian Major-General Robert Mood agreed to let foreign and Syrian media accompany them as they tour the central provinces of Homs and Hama. A group of UN observers are monitoring the ceasefire between the government troops and rebels which started since 12 April.
