CHINA AGRICULTURE BEEKEEPER MAKE HONEY

Location: QINGDAO, SHANDONG, CHINA
May 16, 2012

Ye Zhilong, 49-year-old Chinese beekeeper, examines his honey products in rural Qingdao city, eastern China’s Shandong province, 16 May 2012. Beekeeping is a traditional agricultural technique in many rural areas of China, where beekeepers travel with their properties and bees from place to place to keep up with the blossoming season. With the price about RMB 40 yuan (euro 4.9) per kg, honey products have become popular among citizens due to their natural origin and as they contain no additives. Food safety is an increasingly important issue in China.
