PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) Riot police follow Pro British Loyalists away from Belfast’s City Hall during a protest, Northern Ireland, Britain, 05 January 2013. Northern Ireland loyalists injured several police officers during demonstrations to protest against the Belfast city council’s decision to reduce the number of days on which it displays the pro-British Union Jack flag, police said 05 January. A crowd of 300 people in the east of the city hurled fireworks, bricks and petrol bombs at police officers late on 04 January. The police deployed a water cannon to disperse the crowd and made arrests.
