Attacks by armed insurgents were reported in various cities across Afghanistan on 15 April, officials said. Four explosion took place in Jalalabad, the capital of the eastern province of Nangarhar, which borders Pakistan, provincial governor’s spokesman Ahmad Zia Abdulzai said, adding the insurgents targeted the NATO-led reconstruction office in the city and that the gunfight was ongoing.
