Indian police officers stand at the Delhi district court where five men accused in Delhi gang rape were brought for court hearing in New Delhi, India on 7 January 2013.Five men were formally charged with the gang-rape and murder of a 23-year-old student in New Delhi nearly three weeks after the crime that sparked unprecedented protests across the country. Police say they will seek the harshest punishment possible - the death penalty. A sixth suspect claimed to be a minor and will be tried in a juvenile court unless proven to be an adult news reports said.
