FRANCE SHOOTING JEWISH SCHOOL

Hundreds of people participate in a minute of silence to pay tribute to the victims of the Toulouse school and three French soldiers, at the Capitol square in Toulouse, France, 23 March 2012. A police raid began on 21 March, to apprehend Merah for his alleged involvement in shootings which killed children and a rabbi on 19 March 2012 at a ‘Ozar Hatorah’ Jewish school, as well as three French soldiers earlier in the week. Merah was killed in the final assault on his apartment.
