But Aharonovitch has been challenged by hareidi-religious MK Yisrael Eichler (United Torah Judaism) over a series of attacks that were apparently motivated by anti-hareidi sentiment. The attacks followed heavy media coverage of attacks carried out by members of an extremist hareidi sect in Beit Shemesh and Jerusalem.

“Send me specific events, and I’ll check each complaint and incident… and see how they are being handled,” Aharonovitch told Eichler.

Eichler had asked about four cases: anti-hareidi graffiti in Ashdod, similar graffiti in Modiin Illit, an attack on a hareidi girl on a bus in the Katamon neighborhood of Jerusalem, and an attack on a hareidi man that left him with serious injuries to an eye socket. In each case, police continue to investigate, but have no suspects.

“When a non-hareidi woman is attacked in Beit Shemesh, five men are arrested… even though in the end none is indicted. The deterrence is important in preventing violence. Why are there no suspects in any of the cases in which hareidim were attacked?” Eichler asked.

    >>> Why are there no suspects in any of the cases in which hareidim were attacked?

Umm…let’s think about this one…Could it maybe be the result of all those ultra-haredi protestors calling the police Nazis?

Its all to bash the haradi. There’s so much tension now as they see the numbers in the haradi community growing in such high numbers that there simply worried so all the media coverage is just one sided. Just. look who’s writing. But it won’t take long until the dust settles n have to face fact that its not 50 yard ago n you want ignore the frum any more. Plus many don’t see the hate going back so many years n the drum now the truth

It is amazing that no one is concerned by the Hilul Hashem
commited in Beit Shemesh, and that none of the Gdolei Hador
condemed it publicly. Where is the outcry of our religious leaders? Why is there no justice served and no punishment of the Hooligans that call themselves Hareidim.
Why was there no outcry to the children paraded in Nazi
    uniform ?

    Lets try to understand

    1. should all chilonim cease to receive protection since some of the are hooligans?

    2. Should every Chareidy be condemned and unprotected because of the actions of a few?

    3. Would Rabbi Meir Schapiro ZT”L while sitting in the polish Seim (parliment) accept the (striking similar) argument that the jews (in our case the chareidim) incite the hatred against themselves?

Of course they are a bunch of liberal hypocrites, but why fuel their hatred? We should be doing the right thing by making a kiddush hashem instead. This is what is prescribed by our Gedolim, not violence.

Eichler mentioned four cases, two of them involving graffiti.

I’ve seen tons of Charedi anti-Israeli graffiti. Do chareidim get arrested for it?

As for the two physical attacks on Chareidim. How many physical attacks have the Sikrikim perpertrated without being arrested? Meah Shearim and parts of Beit Shemesh are “no go” zones for the police. Whenever they go there to arrest someone, they get pelted with stones.

I’ll care about the time the police show up at a riot of thousands of Charedi terrorists and arrest more than two people.
