Mitt Romney, who regained front-runner status in the Republican presidential race with three state wins this week, could build on that momentum with a victory in the Washington state caucuses on Saturday just three days before crucial Super Tuesday voting. Romney has won at least 12 delegates while Rick Santorum and Ron Paul have each won at least three. Twenty-two delegates were still left to be awarded.

In the overall race for delegates, Romney leads with 185, Santorum has 90, Paul has 23 and Newt Gingrich has 33. It takes 1,144 delegates to win the nomination.

Washington Republicans use a multi-step process to award delegates, and Saturday’s caucuses were just the first step. The Associated Press projects the number of delegates each candidate would win if there are no changes in their support throughout the process, which culminates in the party’s state convention at the end of May.

This article is misleading. Nobody has any delegates until their votes are cast in the convention. Many states primaries and caucases are not binding on the delegates, and they don’t include the “super delegates” either. Many states will carry a voting victory for a candidate, even overwhelmingly so, and all of the delegates will vote for another at the convention. This is not like an election at all.

I think it’s time the candidates to realize that they don’t have any chances to be the president of the united states. President Obama will anyway stay as the president, he will definitely win a second term, there’s not even one candidate who will change America. It’s all about promisses And fantasy just to catch peoples minds… Time will talk…
