Dr. Joy Mendelsohn stopped her 25-year-old Family Practice a year ago, and might have lost her medical license.
A Department of Health physician accused Mendelsohn of gross negligence for unnecessarily using opiates to treat three patients; for negligence and incompetence in the pain management of a total of eight patients; and for failing to keep good records.
But on June 22 a medical review panel of the Department of Health tossed all charges.[record]
Dr.Mendelsohn is the best Dr.in NY.She is and will always be a really
great person and people need to just let her be.
Pain medicine is needed for those in pain…and sometimes lots of it.
EXACTLY it only takes one person to ruin a career of anyone…..Do you know this doctor personally?
Maybe the miscarriage of justice is the attempts to derail her. She acted professionally, and as a DR is licensed to dispense medications.
Her reputation and practice were ruined by a bunch of hot heads. Now that she’s been cleared, there is little chance of her regaining what she lost.
for a person tha gave some many drugs so readily it is beyond my
comprehension that the nys bd of health would clear her. any more feeback . and i feel that this is a
miscarraige of justice. WHO MADE THIS DECISION TO CLEAR HER?????????
