New York – Lipa Schmeltzer’s new music video, Mizrach, in which the chasidic superstar appears dancing with Israelis from all across the spectrum, including IDF soldiers, was released this morning.

As previously reported on VIN News, Schmeltzer embarked on this project in attempt to demonstrate solidarity with Jews of all types, as tempers continue to flare in Israel with the expiration of the Tal Law, which granted yeshiva students exemptions from compulsory military service with the Israeli Defense Forces.

After dancing with IDF soldiers I don’t really care what his message is.
The Satmar rebbe ZTL clearly said anyone who joins the IDF is part of something that is against hashems will.
We don’t have unity with people who are going against hashems will or people who embarrass hashem.
When the time will come we won’t need no IDF for hashem to give us Israel.
Unity with people who care less about respecting Judaism then Christians do is not UNITY.

No it was not the satmar rebbe’s interpretation of the Torah it was the view of all rebbes at that time.
Yes there were disagreements as to if Frum jews should vote in Israel or if we should go to the kosel etc.
But the fact that israel was created as a Jewish state before the time and was created by no religious jews in spite of what hashem said for us not to do so our selves was not a debate all rebbes agreed with that.
The IDF was created to fight other countries in a time when in the torah it clearly states that we should not lift any weapons upon the nations of the world before moshiach comes.
