Biden says that Obama replied, “But I haven’t done anything yet.”
Biden blames the deficit on the previous Bush administration, adding that it “put two wars on a credit card” and gave tax cuts to the wealthy after inheriting a balanced budget and revenue surplus from the Clinton administration.
Biden hammered GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney for comments on a leaked video in which Romney describes 47 percent of Americans as paying no federal income tax and believing “they are victims.”
Biden made his remarks Saturday to more than 2,000 people in Fort Myers, Fla.
For a change, Biden is right. The Bush adminisration refused to pay for their wars and simply increased the national debt in the name of “national security”. They also allowed the economy to nearly go off the cliff by allowing the banks to operate without oversight. Obama came in and made it worse. A plague on both their houses.
I don’t believe taxing the wealthy would solve the now 16 trillion dollar deficit
And all he did was quadruple it!
Dear VP,
Maybe hve a talk with the people in the know, to confirm that your friends Hary and Nancy had nothing to do with it.
Sure, and Hezbollah was pushed out of Lebanon. He said so in his debate. When did that happen exactly? And people call Palin the stupid one.
Obama signed the bill in February 2009 that created the trillion dollar deficit. The Democrat controlled congress held the bulk of the spending bills until then because Bush would have vetoed.
Obama campaigned on a net spending cut. Where is that? I guess he is too ineffective to get his own budget plan passed when his own party controlled Congress.
Ronald Reagan did not spend the first 4 years or 8 years of his term blaming Carter for what he inherited. He knew what he was getting into when he was elected. He failed miserably and therefore blames all of his failings on Bush.
who will barack blame all his problems on if he is reelected again, after all he was in charge for the past 4 years, probably find some republican to blame it on
They are victims. Once you get on welfare you can’t get off! There is no applicaple program that allows recipients to maintain coverage while getting an entry level job and slowly wean themselves off the system as they begin to stand on their own steady feet as they gain better employment opportunities, build better resumes by holding down some means of employment or move up within the ranks of the companies they managed to get into. The welfare system is designed so ridiculously that people cannot afford to get off it. They are better cared for and accommodated on it than getting a job and being kicked off. It is a no win situation! What should be a temporary situation has become “full time employment on the goverment’s payroll”!
Who is going to trust TWO faking shady characters in a second Obama term?
Add to the mix Pelosi who wants to limit family size to maximum 2 children and Reid and The best you can hope with these jokers is complete deadlock for FOUR MORE YEARS.
I agree with & &10;. 10 really hits the nail on the head. You have to change the system So that no one gets penalized for getting off of welfare.
Unfortunately, From now on to election day the Liberal lying Democrats aided by an adoring media will finish the job of burying The USA.
Obama’s dream of setting America as a third ranked nation and lowering expectations will be his towering success.
Why does Bush enter the conversation? The question at hand is, do we vote for 4 years of weak/failed leadership or give someone else a shot?
