    Tehran, Iran – Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency has published an apology to its “dear readers” after publishing a poll from satirical site the Onion on Friday.

    A statement on the FARS website read: “We would like to apologize to all our dear viewers for the mistaken release of a fake opinion poll on our website.”

    The Onion’s satirical story claimed that rural Americans preferred Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Barack Obama.

    And what makes anyone think that the onion is more Shtisim than CBS and MSNBC. Just let them start printing these polls and soon it will be that way as the majarity (over 47%) Americans have no capability to think on their own

    So, my father, who was a career paratroop officer and was severely injured in the Battle of the Bulge had no capability to think on his own? When he retired from a second career in sales he paid no income tax as he received a non taxable military pension and Social Security. He was in the 47% Romney insulted. I hardly think my father was a “taker.” I do know his response to Romney would have been “gay cack afen yam.” Or worse.
