Washington – In an interview with The Washington Post on Friday, former US secretary of state Henry Kissinger said that the decision to go to war must be an American one.

Discussing Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s speech to the UN calling on the world to draw red lines on the Iranian nuclear threat, Kissinger commented: “Should we make a public announcement [on red lines] that can be used by Israel as a justification for its going to war? That we cannot do.”
He emphasized: “We cannot subcontract the right to go to war. That is an American decision.”

How is Kissinger’s relationship with Jews and Isreal?
The West has flotilla in the Arabian Gulf. The Israelis have conducted rehearsals. The Israeli submarines are nowhere to be seen. The Americans have taken a great interest in Iraqi air traffic control. It would seem all the pieces are in place.
And yet the US feels it has the right to decide when Israel should go to war. Hypocrisy.

No, actually, Henry was in the US Army in World War II. He was on the saving-people-from-gas-ovens side, not the being-saved side.
