Istanbul – Turkey’s Erdogan: Israel Carrying Out “Terrorist Acts” In Gaza

    23

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan speaks during a conference for Turkish and Egyptian businessmen during his visit to Cairo, Egypt, 18 November 2012. EPA/STRIstanbul – Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan described Israel on Monday as a “terrorist state” in carrying out its bombardment of Gaza, underlining hostility for Ankara’s former ally since relations between them collapsed in 2010.

His comments came after nearly a week of Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel and Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip. An Israeli missile killed at least 11 Palestinian civilians including four children in Gaza on Sunday.

“Those who associate Islam with terrorism close their eyes in the face of mass killing of Muslims, turn their heads from the massacre of children in Gaza,” Erdogan told a conference of the Eurasian Islamic Council in Istanbul.

“For this reason, I say that Israel is a terrorist state, and its acts are terrorist acts,” he said.

Ties between Israel and Turkey, once Israel’s only Muslim ally, crumbled after Israeli marines stormed an aid ship in 2010 to enforce a naval blockade of the Palestinian-run Gaza Strip. Nine Turks were killed in clashes with activists on board.

Ankara expelled Israel’s ambassador and froze military cooperation after a U.N. report into the incident released in September last year largely exonerated the Jewish state.

Earlier this month Turkey opened the trial in absentia of four former Israeli military commanders over the 2010 raid.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is to travel to Gaza on Tuesday with a group of foreign ministers from the Arab League.

What a loser! Like anyone cares what this anti-semitic, bigoted racist thinks. The fact that he totally ignores the fact that Hamas fired rockets first ,trying to kill men, women and yes children shows what a idiot he really is. I hope one of Hamas’s rockets explodes in this pigs face when he goes to visit his cousins.

Hopefully Israel has an off switch for all the military hardware it sold/gave to Turkey over the years; or else it may come back to haunt them

I don’t get it. Are Only the Arabs allowed to be terrorists?! We are terrorists too!! If that guy thinks of us like this let him take it! That’s right we are terrorists armed with an Air Force that tops virtually every country in today’s world, armed with nuclear weapons, armed with tanks and warships that can flatten the Gaza Strip in minutes, and you guys out there better watch out cause we’re kind of dangerous…

Regarding Turkey, that country not only rescued Jews who were expelled from Spain in 1492, but also rescued Jews during World War Two, who fled the Holocaust in Europe. Turkey always had a good relationship with EY, and went out of its way to root out terrorists, who had perpetrated a massacre against a Shul in Istanbul in 1986, killing two dozen Turkish Jews. In addition, it accorded protection to Jews at other Shuls in Turkey. Therefore, we should guard our tongues in criticizing the ruler(s) of Turkey. For those of you who are gung ho for battle, have any of you ever served in combat? If there is a ground invasion, there will be many soldiers in the IDF (plus Israeli civilians) killed, in addition to civilians killed on the other side. In modern warfare, tanks have become infernos, when they are struck by armor piercing shells. Even the Abrams M-5A tank, was stopped in Iraq from behind, by primitive guerillas, with rocket propelled grenades. Let us pray for peace, and hope that this matter can be settled without further bloodshed. As Yitzchak Rabin (z’l), once stated “Enough of war, and blood, enough”.

Ask Turkey about their Armenian Genocide from WW1 which they will not claim or admit. This is a contention. They want to attack Israel for our “crimes” when we are defending our homeland and on top of that they have some million Armenian deaths on their hands that they will not accept are true. This is a state without a dignity of justice.

Hey Erdogan ! What bout the 35 Kurds you slaughtered last December for hauling cigarettes? I guess that’s a worse crime than shooting rockets at civilians.

Erdogan is a lame duck; he is on his last term as prime minister now and he wants constitutional reform so that he can remain in power through some other means. I suspect he is trying to win cheap political points by playing off existing anti-Israeli sentiment. He knows that he can get away with it on the international stage because NATO needs him right now to keep Syrian refugees out of Europe.

There never was (probably never will be) a true leader, a statesman in fact, emanating from the arab world that could/would say enough is enough and advise the palis, you’re a 63 year old baby now, it’s time to give your people some peace.

Make the best deal you can with Israel and go forward.

Make lots of commerce with Israel and you’l find yourself doing pretty well for your people.

Instead they have ‘CHAMOIRIM’ like this Turkish zombie and other’s and the cycle of death continues, indefinitely!

This slimy little weasel should slither on over to his family in Gaza and inform them that if they continue to fire from residential buildings, Mosques, schools, and hospitals, if they continue to use ambulances to transport fighters, and amunition, if they continue to use hospitals and mosques as headqurters, if they continue to use human shields, they, their wives, daughters ,and sons will continue to die , period, end of story !

Did anyone ever realize that Erdogan’s comments get hardly any media coverage, despite their absurdity? If an Israeli would defame any of the real Arab terrorist states, he would be summarily shunned, for after all, Israel is the real culprit, right? Of course not! The political projection of jerks like Erdogan are so ubiquitous in the Arab Terrorist World that they’re usually overlooked by most people, yet Israelis are portrayed as the villain for firing rockets in self defense. What has the world come to?
