Jerusalem – An IDF soldier, Cpl. Yosef Partuk, 18, of Emanuel was killed Tuesday morning in a mortar attack in the Eshkol Regional Council area, the IDF released for publication Tuesday evening. Partuk was posthumously promoted to corporal.

The announcement came on the heels of a Gaza rocket attack that lightly injured six people after striking an apartment building in the central city of Rishon Letzion.The upper floors of the building went up in flames, according to Channel 2.
Also Tuesday evening, a person was moderately to seriously wounded when a rocket fired from Gaza struck a building in Ashkelon.
That attack followed a barrage of rockets fired at Ashdod, in which seven people were lightly injured after two direct rocket hits on the city, including one that completely destroyed a grocery store.

hy”d tears are running down my cheeks how heartbreaking a young bochar yosefel of 18 years old so suddenlly and so sadly his life torn away!! yosefel we ask you please be a “milits yoisher” for the state of israel, and especially for all our soldiers who are out there fighting for our sake and let the day come when israel will be shining with glory. me i use these lines to comfort the relitives from dear yosefel please be comforted by knowing he was killed while on duty to save his brothers and sisters blood one thing is for sure he is in a better place!!!

I am all for achdus, but in light of the conversation I must remark that Yosef Partuk was not Haredi but was religious. And we all know that Hashem is most concerned that we are shomer mitzvahs and not what kind of hat we wear.
May his family be comforted and may this be the last Jew that has to die in the name of their terrorism.
